MEMORIAL SHOCK!!!!--- Part 2
by african GB Member ina few days ago i started a thread about a "brother" who is climbing jw corporate ladder in the speed of lightning...he was only baptised recently, but already "anointed" and therefore partaking..... well, at this year's memorial we were subjected to an emotional showoff...his wife cried her lungs out as he partook....apparently she is upset at the fact that they won't be together in the new system, because he will be in heaven and she will be on earth!!!.
a lot of people in our cong were also touched and almost half of them were in tears....i have to say that it looked so convincing that even the worldlies will think that this is the truth....

Who are we kidding?
The KHs are controlled by and for women. How many husbands and children would join such an organization without some wife and Mother making life miserable by beating the same drum of association constantly.
Mrs. annointed is likely crying because she is losing CONTROL. She can no longer get her way because hubby now claims to have a better "bride class" to put up with. She's been dumped! At her age w here else is she going to find another sap to put under obligation for giving up her virtue way back when? No more guilt for this dude. After probably being bagered to join up in the first place by this "Eve" , the old man can now can drink all the wine he wants and spend the bread she was counting on after his death and she can't even bitch! She is no longer always right!
BACKFIRE!
PS Do any others see the wisdom of claiming to be of the "Anointed" even if you believe it is all a crock?

I must confess that as a youngster I did feel up "Holly's skirt" and it was my first glimpse of heaven.

Does the rapid end of paper news forbode a crisis for the WT?
by jamiebowers inaccording to this article, not all papers will be gone, and some that are gone was due to mismanagement more than the bad economy: http://www.slate.com/id/2215154/?gt1=38001.
that being said, i'm sure the wb&ts will do whatever is most profitable for them, as usual..

Proibably not. The sign on the Societies back door reads "the scene of the world is changing."
All the WTBTS would have to remind followers of is that early Christians had no printed material, only word of mouth.
Also, my experience in the org is that the term crisis is interpreted: "proof of being a chosen one."

Is our gripe with God or man?
by The Berean ina friend of mine took a stand the other day that had me thinking.
his claim was until i cursed the god of my understanding i was still a believer of that diety even though i did not profess such worship.. i told him he was probably correct.
he got upset and attempted to adjust my thinking.. you see, i personally have no evidence that woe and stress originates with god or church founders for that matter.

You see, I personally have no evidence that woe and stress originates with God or church founders for that matter. To me, even the holiest of intentions become corrupted when circulated among the masses. Can many find something wrong with the Bible's "Ten commandments"? Perhaps not, yet hate directed toward members the Nation of Isreal, for whom those instructions were originally given, abounds.
When a faith does not work for an individual is it therapudic to verbally assault Budda, Allah, Jehovah, or even Thor because followers made a mess of righteous doctrine? Perhaps ...
I fiind that whichever God one's formative years featured retains a certain degree of respect as well as infallability over time no matter how believers in that diety conduct themselves. Could this skewed inculcation explain why some feel confused as to where the the best affiliation might be found?

I was talking the other day to a long-time elder. As I questioned him concerning certain issues he suggested to me that while all things may be debatable ... debaters most often end up alone on an island. His advice for me was not to "rock the boat" and learn from those who have been around a while by copying their faith in the arrangement ... I am unable to do that.
I sometimes feel that freeness of speech is a phantom and that individuals only accept conformists who are "ear ticklers." Scripture would say "make your foot rare so that your fellowman will not have his fill of you and come to hate you." So I guess sooner or later we all irritate each other.
The truth probably is, there is no truth, only past experience which creates rules in our mind that each believe are best for all. Some of us come from a background of pacifism, some feed on confrontation, still others are disposed to be perfectionists and demand conformity.
A balance might be that of tolerance until there is evidence of damage. Remember from the school yard:"Sticks and stones will hurt my bones but words can never hurt me."
Love endures all things.(Of course, some of you will think I'm off base and crazy. Maybe you're right ... But is there a remote mathematical possibility that you're wrong?)

Superhuman?
by The Berean insince there appears to be no eye=witness testimoney of sin or defect within the governing body of the wbts, could we be dealing with superhumans such as the bible's nephalim?
would this not explain the powerful control this org seems to weild over common folks?.
anyone care to comment?.
